The Life Sciences First Year Program helps students apply their studies to their personal and professional goals.

Welcome to the Life Sciences First Year Program

Launched in 2014, the LSFY Program at NC State was created to help life sciences students find the right fit in a degree program. Featuring Biochemistry, Biological Sciences, Genetics, Microbiology, Nutrition Science, Plant Biology and Zoology, our goal is to challenge students to think critically about what they are interested in studying and creatively about how they can apply their studies to their personal and professional goals.
